Works recently commenced for the redevelopment of the former St Peter’s School site – Partick Housing Association’s latest affordable housing project.

The contractor, CBC, has been granted permission by Glasgow City Council to close Dowanhill Street between Chancellor Street and White Street. The road closure will be in place for a period of 81 weeks from Monday 6 November 2017 until Friday 24 May 2019.

This permission was given after the Council considered the health and safety implications of the works taking place. The major demolition work will take place on Dowanhill Street where CBC’s site office will be located.

This will restrict parking and diversion signs will be placed to indicate alternative routes for drivers. Please refer to the road closure map for further information.
