To discuss your housing situation and the process of applying to rent a home, please visit our office or alternatively phone us on 0141 357 3773 and select option 3.
Once we have received and processed your application, we will let you know your level of priority and the likelihood of you being offered a home.
If we think we can offer you a home, we will contact you to check the details on your application and discuss setting up a new home. You will need to provide supporting documentation for your Housing Application, including proof of your identity, current home address and proof of income. If you move or your circumstances change, please tell us.
If you are already a Partick Housing Association tenant and need to move, you can apply for a transfer or mutual exchange.
The demand for our housing greatly exceeds the available supply. This means we are unable to offer every applicant a property.
Most of our properties are one or two bedroom flats. We have a few larger houses, but these are in very high demand and become available infrequently.
Find details here of the area we rent homes in and the housing officers who look after them here.
Social homes are let using Scottish Secure Tenancy agreements, which provide a high level of security.
Rents depend on each home’s size and amenities, and typically range from £300 to £490 per calendar month. The level of annual rent increases is controlled by the Partick Housing Association Board.
We ask everyone who wants to register for housing with us, to contact us and make an appointment by telephoning 0141 357 3773 and pressing option 3 for Housing. We can then discuss your housing options.
Everyone aged 16 or over can apply for social housing, however we are not able to rehouse everyone who applies. This is because everyone has varying degrees of housing need and therefore will receive different points when they submit a housing application. As demand for housing outstrips supply, we are unfortunately unable to offer a home to everyone. Please note the points you receive at the time of application will remain the same unless your circumstances change. We do not award points for waiting time.
Please let us know if you move address as we will need to cancel your application. If you want to remain on our list you will need to complete a new application form.
Please advise us of any change in your circumstances. We will discuss with you what you need to do depending on the changes.
We will discuss your homeless situation with you and advise you of your best options.
On a yearly basis we allocate approximately 50% of all our lets through the homeless route. You can find contact details for Casework Offices here.
