Partick Community Council (PCC) is the oldest community group in Partick. It is a secular, non-political and constituted organisation.
PCC is a statutory body, recognised and funded by Glasgow City Council. As a statutory body, PCC’s councillors represent the community in Partick – residents, organisations and businesses – and in addition respond to planning, licensing and HMO appllications. PCC councillors also represent Partick at Area Partnership meetings with Glasgow City Council and other organisations.
PCC has up to 12 elected members who represent approximately 6000 people in Partick. The boundaries for Partick Community Council run from Byres Road to Crow Road, and from the River Clyde to Highburgh Road.
