St Peter’s School Site
The redevelopment of the former St Peter’s School site is Partick Housing Association’s latest affordable housing project.
The school closed in 2013 and we bought it from Glasgow City Council in March 2016. We received planning permission in December 2016, and plans and a report on the consultation that we carried out can been viewed here.
This project will deliver a total of 60 new affordable homes for the community of Partick, including 21 properties for mid-market rent and 39 properties for social rent. Each flat will have its own private off-street parking space.
Works commenced on site in October 2017. The contractor is Central Building Contractors (Glasgow) Ltd. – a reputable and experienced Glasgow-based construction company. Unfortunately, it has taken longer than anticipated to complete this complicated project however we are now in the final stages of the works and CBC are projecting a finish date of March 2020.
