On 14 September 2022, PHA announced the completion of the development of 60 new affordable homes at Mansfield Gate in Partick.
These new homes sit on the site of the former St Peters School on Chancellor Street, Dowanhill Street and White Street. There are 31 flats for social rent, 21 for mid-market rent and 8 for supported accommodation managed by SAMH.
The former St Peter’s School closed in 2013 and Partick Housing Association bought it from Glasgow City Council in March 2016. We received planning permission in December 2016. Plans and a report on the consultation that we carried out can been viewed here.
The project was financed by Partick Housing Association, together with grant funding from Glasgow City Council. It was delayed because of the Coronavirus pandemic and the original contractor going into administration.
