Help decide how £20K is spent in your community

The Partick & Thornwood Ideas Fund – Community Voting Event

Partick Burgh Hall – Monday 3 December, 6pm to 8.30pm (with free buffet and raffle).

Partick Housing Association is one of sixteen community organisations from across Scotland who were successful in securing a grant from the Scottish Government’s Community Choices Fund earlier this year. Working in partnership with Annexe Communities, we’ve set up The Partick & Thornwood Ideas Fund to distribute £20,000 to projects in the area.

The Fund was open to individuals and groups to apply for pots of up to £1500 to deliver ideas which would benefit people living in Partick and Thornwood. We received a staggering 31 applications totalling £26,500 and you* are invited to help decide which projects are funded at the Community Voting Event on Monday 3 December at 6pm in Partick Burgh Hall.

By asking the community to vote, we are giving people a direct voice in how funds should be invested in the area. The decision making power is in the hands of local people – join us to have your say!

*Voting is open to people living and working in the Partick & Thornwood area.
