PHA welcomes Shona Redmond from the Simon Community Scotland to our team to provide a new tenancy sustainment service.

Shona comes with much experience of tenancy sustainment and has been employed with the Simon Community Scotland for 8 years. The Simon Community is a voluntary charity that supports people to keep them in their homes. Shona will be working two days per week in our office. She will be supporting tenants in their household to manage and maintain their tenancy by providing practical assistance; advice and information through one to one engagement; provide support with practical daily living skills and referrals to other services. Shona can also provide support to tenants to attend relevant appointments and provide practical assistance to ensure attendance.

Housing Officer, Lynsey Crystal, said: “Since Shona joined PHA, we have seen great results. She is able to deliver one to one specialist support on a day to day basis and has helped some tenants make good progress in a very short time. She is enthusiastic, passionate and a good motivator which makes the customers working with her feel empowered to embrace change. Additionally, she has a wealth of knowledge on support agencies”.
