Broomhill Gate Residents Group held their first street party

On Saturday 9 June, Broomhill Gate was the place to be as the residents held their first ever street party. The weather couldn’t have been better with plenty of sunshine and temperatures as high as 22 degrees!

Starting at 12pm residents came together to hang decorations, lay out tables and chairs and fire up the barbeque. Broomhill Gate’s resident Chef, Danial, prepared delicious homemade burgers, spicy marinated chicken and tasty frankfurters to share with everyone. Each person who joined in brought along some food including homemade pasta salads, fresh veggies, crisps, cakes and plenty of refreshments.

Residents from the townhouses, flats and the Crossreach building all participated in the festivities, getting a chance to meet some of their neighbours for the first time and enjoy each other’s company.
