The Glasgow Winter Night Shelter is a project managed by Glasgow City Mission in partnership with charities, organisations and housing associations concerned with tackling homelessness. The shelter provides emergency accommodation for some of our city’s most vulnerable people during the coldest months of winter. In the mornings, the service connects people to Glasgow City Council’s homelessness case team, healthcare and other services.
As in previous years, PHA has made a charitable donation of £300 to support Glasgow City Mission in providing the shelter. During the festive period, a time when we face some of our toughest weather conditions, it is especially important for us to support the great work of the staff and volunteers at Glasgow City Mission.
The Glasgow Winter Night Shelter operates during December 1st to March 31st. You can view their flyer HERE or find out more information on the WEBSITE.
The Partick South Church is holding a Coffee, Cake and Christmas event on Saturday 16 December to raise funds for the Glasgow City Mission’s Christmas Appeal. View their Facebook event HERE.
We take this opportunity to wish all of our customers and associates a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Click HERE for information about our office closure and emergency contact details over the holiday period.
