Laurel Street Development
The Laurel Street development will create much needed new affordable homes for Partick.
This scheme will provide 24 homes for social rent with parking, cycle storage and a rainwater garden. Planning permission was granted in April 2019 and the approved drawings can be viewed here.
Work started on site in August 2019 and is programmed to be complete in October 2020. The contractor is CCG (Scotland) Ltd who have extensive experience in this industry. The ground floor of the flats is of traditional construction (brick and block) and the upper floors are timber kit. The timber kit will be constructed off site in CCG’s own off site manufacturing facility based in Cambuslang. This speeds up construction time, reduces waste and reduces errors on site.
