Partick and Thornwood Ideas Fund

Partick and Thornwood Ideas Fund 20/21

The Partick and Thornwood Ideas Fund 20/21 is being delivered by Annexe Communities in partnership with Partick Housing Association, Partick Community Council, Thornwood Community Council, and Dowanvale Church.

The Ideas Fund gives individuals and groups an opportunity to apply for grants to realise their ideas, delivering positive change for local people in the community. Everyone living or working in the Partick and Thornwood area will have the opportunity to vote to decide which projects are funded. The projects which receive the most votes will be funded.

The Ideas Fund is delivered through Participatory Budgeting – a democratic way for people to have a direct say on how public money is spent. PB gives people the opportunity to identify and discuss what matters to them in their communities and to vote on their priorities.

New Round of Funding for Young People – 2021

The Partick and Thornwood Ideas Fund is back, and opened on Monday 18 January at 9am. Young people aged 18 years and under could apply for up to £500 to deliver ideas which will benefit the local community. Applications are now closed but were open to young people individually or as a group. An adult sponsor is required.

For more information, contact David Halliday at Annexe Communities (details below).

The Community Voting Events enable people living and/ or working in the Partick and Thornwood area to vote to decide which ideas are best for their community.
