Coronavirus (COVID-19) update

coronavirus update

The health and wellbeing of our customers and staff is very important to us and we are taking steps to minimise risks where we can.  With increasing numbers of reported cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) we are closely monitoring the advice and guidance from Scottish Government and official health authorities on the situation and will update our website and social media accordingly.

We are currently working through plans to maintain services through this uncertainty and rapidly changing situation.

From Monday 16 March, PHA have the following contingencies in place;

  • Reducing face to face contact and advising customers not to visit the office.
  • If you have a pre-arranged meeting over the next week, we will contact you to agree other arrangements. Some of our work can be conducted without the need for face to face contact and can be done over the phone or via email.
  • Carrying out essential home visits only, these will be pre-arranged and we (and our contractors) will ask you some screening questions to protect you and our staff before visits can be agreed.

You should let us know if you are self-isolating or have recently returned from any of the countries in lockdown.
