Partick
Housing, in its effort to promote closer links between itself and the
community, helped to set up Partick United Residents’ Group (P.U.R.G.).
This
Group has gone from strength to strength and has just recently held
its fourth Annual General Meeting. The Group has acted as a pressure
group to bring about a number of environmental improvements in the area,
for example:
- Campaign
for greater resources in the area from the Cleansing Department
In
addition to the above, P.U.R.G. in consultation with our other participation
group, Fortrose House Residents’ Association, have been actively
involved in reviewing
relevant policies of the Association such as the Allocations Policy
and the Rent Policy
If
you would like to learn more about P.U.R.G. please contact the Association
or if you would like to join, please download the application form here or
pop into our office and pick one up. You will be sure of a very warm
welcome at PURG’s meetings which are held every month in the Stewartville
Street Annexe.
