To apply for housing with Partick Housing Association, you need to complete an application form. All applications are assessed on the basis of housing need and points are awarded in accordance with the Association’s Allocations Policy

Partick is an area of very high demand and on average 140 properties a year become available for let. This means that although you are on our list, there is no guarantee that you will be made an offer and because new applications are received every day, your position on the list will change.

If you would like to download an application form click here.   If you are applying for a house with us on the grounds of medical or mobility problems, please download our medical form here and complete and send it along with the application form.   A summary allocations policy which should be read in conjunction with our application form is available to download here

Alternatively you can contact us and we will send one out to you by post. Application forms can also be collected by calling into our office at 10 Mansfield Street.

Partick Housing Association was founded in 1975 and in March 2001 merged with Meadowside and Thornwood Housing Association. The association is registered with and monitored by Communities Scotland (formerly Scottish Homes).

HOW WE ALLOCATE OUR HOUSES

The allocation policy has been formulated after consultation with Glasgow City Council, other housing providers, advice agencies and the local community. The policy complies with the appropriate relevant legislation and the Performance Standards applicable to registered social landlords.

Aims and objectives

  • to ensure that houses are allocated to those in greatest housing need
  • to ensure the allocation process is fair
  • to assist the local authority in meeting its statutory obligations for homelessness
  • to assist external agencies to provide housing where the need and support has been identified
  • to make the best use of the stock available
  • to meet the changing needs of existing tenants
  • to help create and sustain balanced and stable communities.
